I built a table for layout. I then created a special class for this table, so I could have 2px gray border on just the left and the right. I then aligned the table center.

I also created a table above this custom class table and below the custom class table for my layout stucture. Both were also aligned.

I checked the site in IE 5.2, Netscape 7, and on Safari on the Macintosh. I also checked the site on the latest versions of IE and Netscape on the PC.

On the PC, Netscape did not align the custom class perfectly between the other two tables. It was slightly to the left of the two other tables.

Why is that? Why does netscape on the pc not align the custom class table exactly center.

<table width="656" height="350" border="0" align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tablemaininfo">

.tablemaininfo {
padding-top: 10px;
padding-right: 5px;
padding-bottom: 0px;
padding-left: 5px;
border-top-width: 2px;
border-right-width: 2px;
border-bottom-width: 2px;
border-left-width: 2px;
border-top-style: none;
border-right-style: solid;
border-bottom-style: none;
border-left-style: solid;
border-top-color: #666666;
border-right-color: #666666;
border-bottom-color: #666666;
border-left-color: #666666;

Hi Steven R,
It looks fine to me in Netscape 7.

Nice photos.
