Anyone has a solution to fix my page which can be seen here at http://www.jefferyfernandez.id.au
It works perfect on Mozilla 1.4 + and IE 6.0
My browsercam capture page can be seen here http://www.browsercam.com/public.aspx?proj_id=30117
I am only worried about IE 5.x
I am using floats for the navigation subheader and content divs. Has anyone seen this method been approached properly even if it is done with hacks ? Will the box model hack fix the problem I am having. I am asking this because I tried the box model hack and it didn't do much.
CSS file can be seen here http://www.jefferyfernandez.id.au/styles/real.css
Thanks
Jeffery

your problem will be fixed for ie 5.5 win if in #subHeader you add clear: right;
i think.
as for ie 5.01 win or others? i don't know. perhaps this will clear your mind.
good luck!
ps try changing to float: right; in your #content and see what happens in 5.01

I have been working on this all day and IE 5.5 has been fixed with the box model hacks. But IE 5.01 is totally broken.

yes gald I found out about the IE multiple installs. Now I can concentrate on the Design at ease without signing up at Browsercam with different emails every 8 hours. As you must have seen IE5.01 shows a totally broken design... so I am working on it now.
so what was the solution for you?
I used the Box Model hacks to fix the IE5.5 but I don't know whats wrong with IE5.01 now. Maybe there are some other hacks I need to look at now. :?
floated div page falling apart on IE 5.x
Hi paCkeTroUTer,
Actually I thought you had it fixed as I can't see anything wrong with it in IE5.
Possibly I screwed something up with the multiple versions.
floated div page falling apart on IE 5.x
Hi Tony, so you mean to say it looks the same on IE5 as what you see on IE5.5 and IE6 with your multiple version setup ?
I'll verify the problem when I get back on to my xp later today.
phew.... its a hot day today here 35 degrees. I suppose you are used to the hot weather up in brisbane

Hi paCkeTroUTer,
I've attached a screen shot from my parents pc with IE5 installed on win2000.
One day I'll have to do an upgrade for them

Thanks Tony for that. Now I can rest in peace(I mean stress free). For some strange reason yesterday it was showing a broken structure on IE 5.01. I did a re-boot and it has fixed the problem. :)
