Last month our second birthday snuck quietly past without any fanfare.
I think I was too wrapped up in other issues to notice
Although we were hacked, it caused minor on no interference to the forum as we managed the best month ever with 668 topics and 3527 posts.
Any way i'd like to take this opportunity to thank all of you for making this forum such a friendly and helpful place.
There are a couple of people who really deserve special mention here and at a risk of missing one of the many unsung heros of the forum I will endeavor to name a few.
Hugo, co2, Roy, DCElliot and thepineapplehead, have really been the rocks holding this place together.
Both Hugo and co2 have now reached over 1000 posts with hopefully many more quality suggestions/solutions on the way.
kk5st is really is one of the hidden treasures of the forum and always seems to be helping out someone. If I ever need another moderator he would be right up there at the top of the list of people to ask.
Then I must mention some of the ladies who have been making a big impact on the forums.
Karinne who gave birth to Alexandra mid topic
Lorraine who for a while looked about to run of with DCElliot never to be seen again.
Jokes aside, thanks for you contributions and thanks to all the others who put in many hours of unpaid and unrecognized help here on the forums =D>
Keep up the good work.

A belated happy birthday to our beloved csscreator. I can't believe I forgot to send a card.
Kind words from Tony and in return thanks should go to you for providing, maintaining and nuturing the little one.
Congratulations to csscreator and everyone that contributes =D>
Hugo.

I think I missed more than the birthday there. :-k
I know everyone appreciates the job you have done here, Tony, and there are several of us who can foster the little brat if you need a break from time-to-time.

Thanks to all the heroes who have helped me prod along with CSS. I can now just about think of the problem before it exists and fix it straight away
And happy birthday to the forum. \:D/

Speaking for myself, I live in a small country with relatively few professional webdesigners. Useful knowledge is hard to find at educational level. Many clients doesn't know what they should be asking for.
This very site has helped me in many situations when I didn't want to go the old <table> way, and when I have strived for a standard-complient and crossbrowser design.
Thank you Tony, and everyone else who has given their attention and not demanding anything in return. I hope to be able to pay you back in the future.

...yep, that's me: washed up, battered by the constantly changing tide, occasionally p*ssed on by passers by, yet strangely content with life when lying on a beach in the sun. Thanks for the words of appreciation Tony, and well done to you too.

Wow, 2 years. It's a shame other things (er, work, mainly) have started to eat into my time - and a lack of web-based projects to keep me here asking the questions as well as replying to others. Getting a bit rusty on the old CSS - I do drop in occasionally, do a search, find my answer and toddle off. There's a couple of possibilities ahead though, I may well be back...
Tony has done a great job getting this started, and of course he's not to be forgotten in putting in "many hours of unpaid and unrecognized help here on the forums"

Thanks DJomp,
It's good to know you still pop your head in occasionally.
