I'm not sure if I'm crazy and normally I'd just persevere until I'd cracked it but I'm REALLY stuck now.

Simple website in CSS.

http://www.stuweb.co.uk/rbs/

All is relatively okay in IE,

the idea was that most people have either 800x600 or 1024x768 and that at either of these Resolutions the graphic at the top would appear to stretch when in reality the its just under the navigation system.

can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong?

Stuart

layout pains / Opera

Had a quick look at your site and it does not look good in Mozilla Firebird and Opera. For one thing you got your content class mistyped - it should not be capitalized. I think there is a case-sensitivity issue here:
<div id="Content"> should be <div id="content">

When this was fixed, Moz FB displayed okay. Also, you may want to consider the following:

#logo {
   z-index: 0;  /*  -1 seems to hide it from mozilla */
}

#logo p {
   margin: 0px; /* since you placed your objects within p tags */
}

#navigation a {
   display: block; /* to have your navigation display okay in opera and moz */
}

body {
  background-color: #FFFFFF;  /* default background */
}

Hope this helps.
