Hi,

Would search engines have trouble spidering out to off-site links that have a little java status bar hide like this--

<a href="http://hop.amerchant.com/?nick/merchant1" onMouseover="write_it('http://www.goodguy.com/');return true;" onMouseout="write_it('');return true;">Visit This Good Guy</a>

Thanks for your time,

onMouseover="write_it('Rischen')

Smile

spidering status bar cloaked links

I shouldnt think so as you are still using a standard link just with some added javascript. However to be completely sure and to make your code better you should try to include the code in a separate js file then give the link and ID and use the getElementById to locate it.

to read more check out http://www.quirksmode.org he knows far more than me.
