I'm sorry if this question has been addressed before on this forum. . .
I new to css design, and I have a design that was worked up in Photoshop by another designer that requires precise (to the pixel) positioning of all elements. The layout does not scale horizontally.
I would very much like to use css to lay out the site, but I need it be displayed properly in most browser (IE pc back to 5, Netscape 6, etc). Is this possible?
Thanks in advance.
A little follow up. . .
Since I posted my first message I've been loading old browsers onto a vmware workstation like mofo and I'm getting good results in IE 5 and Netscape 6. So far so good.
Precise positioning and sizing of elements
Hi cosmicf,
Glad to here your getting good results.
As you will or have found out, it is possible to develop pixel prefect sites just not always easy.
