Well, I just made the leap from tables to CSS. In that move, I had to start from scratch. I have been working on this design for several days, and I would like some opinions about it. You may view the template and its source here, but please do not rip my code. I have been working very hard on it, as I mentioned earlier. If you need and/or want something, just ask, and I am sure we will work something out. Thank you for respecting this modest wish. And many thanks in advance for all of your opinions and ideas! I look forward to them with great gratitude.

Best Regards,

New Layout; Want Comments

Hi JC4Life,
In IE6 on windows much of the page is hidden when the page first loads.
The content then starts to appear as you move the mouse around.

Hope that helps.

New Layout; Want Comments

Hi JC4Life,
I just had a quick look at the source, the problem could be the missing values for

Quote:
scrollbar-darkshadow-color:;
scrollbar-face-color:;
scrollbar-highlight-color:;
scrollbar-shadow-color:;
which are ie only tags so Netscape would ignore them. Try commenting them out.
Hope that helps.

Ok, thanks for that info. That's actually an old piece of code that I've been using for a couple years now. I'll take it out, though.

Looks good, but you should edit the CSS so it validates @ w3c.
Other than that, works fine; although I'm not really too pleased about that flash banner involving the Big Bang Theory. :?

Thank you for your comments! I am sorry if you were offended by that banner. I did not create it; I got it from GodSpeaks. That banner and a few others are what I am using as examples for a new ad rotator that I am developing. Note: the ad rotator is not on that particular page, but it will appear on the main site.

Keep the comments coming! Thanks a lot!

Please don't rip your code?

I really think that the last thing people in this forum will do (especially regulars and good CSS designers) is take your CSS verbatim and stuff it into their page.
