I'm writing a JavaScript program that uses the address bar to pass the variables.

Now the problem I may run into is At anyone time i may have 100 variables that need to be sent (average of 500 to 750 total characters). And I don't know if there is a limit on the size of the address which would hinder what I'm doing and make me look to alternative means of passing data.

I believe I read somewhere that IE has a 500-something character limit for bookmarks - whether that translates to the same limit for URLs, I don't know.

-later - more digging came up with this: http://www.squarefree.com/bookmarklets/limits.html in which url length limits were tested.

lets hope that bookmark length and url length are relative to one another. If so I'll be fine.

Thanks for the help
