Hi forum,

I have just plugged in a new navigation menu on my site at http://www.dmxcomputers.co.uk and I am curious as to which browsers the sliding div fails/works in. I have tested it in FF1, IE6 and Opera7.54. It works in IE6 and FF but fails in Opera ( I can live with this). Thanks for your time.

Looks OK in Mozilla 1.0.1/Linux!

sliding menu

I'm not sure why it is really necessary - it is a bit gimmicky. Things like this should always be designed to fail gracefully - what does it do in Opera? Can the user still navigate despite losing the visual cues?

Another matter, I note on your tips page that you have content that has been taken from other websites but is not given any attribution. You have at the bottom that the site is "Copyright ©2004 DMX Computers Ltd. All Rights Reserved." You should ensure that you (1) have permission to copy the information and (2) give proper attribution.
