Hi,

Could you help me with this table?
The problem is the following one,
this code works fine in the IE 6, but in the Mozilla Firebird and Opera the table appears without formatting HTML (colors of the border). How to fix it using CSS?

<!--
<table border="1" cellspacing="0" bgcolor="#FFFFFF" bordercolor="#EAEAEA"
bordercolorlight="#EAEAEA" cellpadding="2" bordercolordark="#FFFFFF" width="150" align="center">
   <tr bgcolor="#F7F7F8">
   <td><font class="content">
<img src="/images/arrow.gif" border="0" width="14" height="10"> <strong>Principal</strong></font></td>
 </tr>
 <tr bgcolor="#F7F7F8">
   <td><font class="content"><strong>-</strong>
    <a href="index.php">Portal</a></font></td>
 </tr>
 <tr bgcolor="#F7F7F8">
   <td><font class="content"><strong>-</strong>
   <a href="/forum target="_blank">Fórum</a></font></td>
 </tr>
 <tr bgcolor="#F7F7F8">
   <td>&nbsp;</td>
 </tr>
</table>  -->

Using CSS works, but bordercolor light and dark doesn't:

head>
<STYLE type=text/css>
.tab1
{
border-style: solid;
border-width: 4px;
border-color: #EAEAEA #EAEAEA #FFFFFF #FFFFFF
}
.tab2
{
border-style: solid;
border-width: 5px;
border-top-color: red;
border-right-color: red;
border-bottom-color: blue;
border-left-color: blue;
}
tr
{
background-color: #F7F7F8;
}
.tr1
{
background-color: #000FFF;
}
</STYLE>
</head>

I can't use the bordercolorlight and bordercolordark.

How's it using CSS?

bordercolordark

Hi ibstk,
Are not part of the CSS standards.
They will work in the HTML like your top example in IE only.

Hope that helps.

bordercolorlight and bordercolordark in CSS

Hi,

Why don't you just replace it with some css borders.

e.g.Add this CSS:

table {
	border:1px solid #EAEAEA;
}
td {
	border-right: 1px solid #EAEAEA;
	border-top: 1px solid #FFF;
	border-bottom: 1px solid #EAEAEA;
	border-left: 1px solid #EAEAEA;
}

Then change the first line of the table as follows:

<table border="1" cellspacing="0" bgcolor="#FFFFFF" cellpadding="2"  width="150" align="center">

This should give the same effect.

That worked perfectly in Forefox - until latest 1.0. Instead I now get ugly grey borders. Anyony any idea how to fix that?
