Has anyone else figured a way to make IE standalones work on Windows 98?
I've got Windows 98 and I picked up Windows 98 standalones from skyzyx and evolt but I can't get any of them to work. First there was an illegal operation in browseui.dll so I replaced it with a newer version and now when I double click the exe.'s I get nothing at all. System silence. I checked the standalone version details and they're all actually for Windows 2000.
Has anyone else had this problem in Windows 98 and know of a way to fix it?
