Planning on submitting this design to Zen Garden....

www.nuevostudio.com/zen

The whole content is inside a div relativeky centered...

I haven't been able to make the box and backgrounds go all the way up to the border of the page on Firefox and Safari...

you'll see in the page that the bar the girl is holding doesn't have a gap in IE....

I dunno what the problem is... Can anyone give me a hint?

Any other bug/idea or insult on the run is welcome! thanks!

Thanks!

This won't help:

body
{
background: url(images/trama.gif);
margin: 0;
padding: opx;
font-size: 70%;
font-family: Georgia, serif;
color: #B198C5;
}

...but then validation would have told you that :roll:

Also, you are referencing your body tag to an id that I can't see in your stylesheet. You might be in for a hard time if you submit this page Wink

Thanks Roy, the idea is to learn also on the way....

I didn't touch the html of course, since the body tag is referenced should i use:

body#NameOfTag {.....} instead ?

I fixed the other typo and still get that gap... oh well I'll keep tring...

Oh, I see. Sorry. In that case I'm not sure what you should do about that id.

As for the gap, you need to take a copy and strip your code right back to the basics, bit by bit until the gap disappears (then you'll know what caused it). It might be some sort of collapsing margins thing, or it might be to do with the rogue id. The best way to find out is by removing everything in steps.

thnk roy!!

I was able to pin-point the problem: It was the H1 inside the header... I lost them with display:none (I was gonna do it anyways to replace them with pics)

With a little patience we can go farther!! Smile)

thanks again!

My Zen Garden Submission

I saw this on Zen Garden the other day.
I thought it was one of the nicer new ones.
Great Job!
