So far, my page looks fine in Opera, IE 6, Mozilla, and Firefox.

HOWEVER, in IE 5 and 5.5, the background image for my main (text-wrapper) div won't repeat on the y-axis!! The body background color just shows through. icon_sad.gif

I know there's GOT to be some way around this. Perhaps a * html hack somewhere. . . .

Anybody have any ideas at all????? Thanks!

Can't get my background image to repeat, please help?

Hmmmm. I have no idea, but try it in shorthand, and try repeating both axes - see if that fixes the problem:

background-image: url(../images/basic/main-bg.jpg);
background-repeat: repeat-y;

Try using:

background: #fff url(../images/basic/main-bg.jpg) repeat;
