A site I've been developing uses a 3-col layout based on one created via csscreator, and validates to XHTML 1.0 Transitional. It works in Firefox, IE5/Mac and IE6/Win for the most part. The problem is that when loading pages within the site in IE6/Win, some of my floats (mainly the left and right column) momentarily skew far left and overlay other divs. Usually when the page completes loading the layout "pops" correctly into place, but other times it stays broken and shifted to the left.

The issue is similar to the FOUC (Flash of Unstyled Content) discussed on bluerobot.com, however I've put in all the fixes for that and it still occurs. This issue only happens in IE as far as I've tested.

To see the issue, using IE, goto http://www.franklinlakes.org and randomly choose different sections from the dropdown menu "Jump to Dept". It may take a few reloads to see the bug surface.

Has anyone seen this before? If so, any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Hisham
