Thought I would put a link to this site I've been working on:
Any comments/suggestions? I really want it to have a solid structure and design... It's only been tested it in Firefox and Explorer.... Sure, it'd be great to have it work in a crapload of other browsers too, buuut I don't think I'll put too much concentration on that aspect... Maybe it's a bad idea, I don't know.... I would be curious as to it's behaviour in other browsers....

I'm getting an odd flicker in the upper right hand corner on loading the page. I'm wondering if this is a variation on the Flash of Unstyled Content or FOUC phenomenon. Try one of the solutions at: http://www.bluerobot.com/web/css/fouc.asp
The other possibility is that the image, burst.png, is interlaced and causes presentation artifacts as it de-interlaces on the page. Try saving it as a non-interlaced image. (And face it - interlacing was for 14.4 kBaud modems :roll: )

the FOUC article is really interesting, i had never heard of that before... good observation with the interlacing, i think that is more likely to be the cause.... i could have easily saved a png interlaced on accident... i don't know why i would have done that 
.... i'll try resaving it soon, and upload it again ...... i had noticed that flicker before, and it's probably a bigger deal than i had considered it .... on some pages the flicker lasts for a good while ... weird stuff!!

Nice site! I'm getting some kind of flicker in the top left corner as well though.
