Alright well this is my first site using a CSS so please be gentle. I will eventually move to using DIV instead of tables, but this was a big enough step as it is so it will work for now. The page and the CSS both validate over at W3C.
Site: http://www.student-links.net
CSS: http://www.student-links.net/text.css
I have tested the site in IE6 for windows, and had a buddy test it in mozilla. Looking for results from Netscape, Firefox, and any mac browsers. Or even older IE/NS versions for windows.
Besides just a visual check, any input in terms of the code and the CSS would be GREAT! Thanks a lot guys, I've already learned a lot from just reading the boards.

A simple "works in ______" would be great. I just don't want to get this all set up and then have it not work in some browsers.

As you have not attached a screen shot, it is difficult to know what the site is supposed to look like, however, it 'seems' okay in FireFox on a Mac. It looks quite different in Safari though, so I have attached a screenshot for you. I cannot spend time debugging it for you as I have a wife and kids to spend time with, but it looks to me like you need to zero some more borders and cell spacing etc.
I can't speak for everyone, but the reason that you have not had any responses so far may be to do with the fact that this forum is aimed very much at those who use CSS for layouts, not just styling. The difference in conceptual terms is huge! I suspect that if you had taken on more of a challenge (as everyone else has at some point) and used divs, you might be seeing more helpful posts.
...just a thought

Thanks for the input. I really appreciate it. I don't expect anyone to do my work for me and fix all the bugs, was just looking to see if there were any bugs I didn't know about in browser I don't have access to.
I meant to attach a screenshot, but must have had a brain fart or something. I'll attach it now. The border should be all the way around, but I'm running 800x600 so it doesn't fit on the screen without scrolling.
Thanks again for the input.
