Hi

I have just made some more changes to my site trying to move further away from using tables. It all seems to be working fine on my windows XP machine on IE 6, Opera 7.54, Netscape 7.0, FireFox 0.9.3, and Mozilla 1.7.2.

I have ask a friend to view it on a MAC on IE and Firefox. On FireFox it seems fine but on IE it just breaks. The columns all go funny. I have tried to fix this but not sure if it has worked. Could somebody have a look and give me feedback as to where I'm going wrong.

The url of the site is www.djwade.com. I have also add some screen shot of the site for you to compare.

Thanks

MAC Issue

Hi

I have been checking my site out and it work fine on all the windows platforms and browsers that I have.

A friend viewed the site on a MAC on their was some issue with positioning the content. I have hopefully fixed this but would really like somebody to have a look and see if this is the case. The many issue is IE on a MAC??? I know their is a issue with width on MAC IE and have allowed an extra 10 pixels.

The url is www.djwade.com

Cheers

I'm not affiliated with that site at all, but it's a great tool to see what your site would look like in Safari on Mac.

There are still some little lines visible left of your "BlueBoxMiddle" div's in Opera 7.53. This has to do with the underline text-decoration on your hyperlinked images.

You may also want to extend the width of your input box with name=ss to take up some more space.

Hope this helps

Thanks for the advice. I have now fixed the issue in Opera 7.53 and have made the search box a little bit bigger. I can't make it too big as it breaks in IE and Netscape on a PC. Also I have run my pages through the link you provided and it looks fine in Safari, I think my issue is with IE on a Mac. They don't seem to cover that one.

Cheers

Design wise its pretty standard for that type of site. Its good in that sense. Its ideal for a company, however Id perhaps think about having some colour blue around the boxes in the middle or something as the blue is overused perhaps
