I have set up a twitter account for @CSSCreator. The account will be used initially to keep people informed of the redesign and development. I'll use it to let you know when the site comes back online as it will be down for most of a day. Don't get too excited, it is still a while off and there's still much to be done, specially on the design side of things. Just one day left in the Logo Design competition. Then we have the hard task of choosing a winner and then designing the site... It will be a Sunday that is chosen for the upgrade as it is the quietest day.
Then once the upgrade is complete I'm hoping the moderators will get involved with tweeting hot, interesting topics, ones that are hard to solve or ones with creative solutions. I will keep my @taslett twitter account for my other life away from web development and CSS. The very small other life that it is
I'm happy to here suggestions of other uses of twitter for the @CSSCreator Twitter seems to be something many people either like or dislike strongly or just don't get. I find it an interesting way to keep up with news and friends.

I love how twitter's best
I love how twitter's best useage is for people to talk to the ether about what they had for breakfast.
Still, I suppose there needs to be some place to post updates. I don't twit but so long as I can read updates when the site it down it's ok.

I use twitter as part of my morning ritual, coffee, twitter and RSS feeds. It's a good way to keep up with web development news. I'm not really interested in following people that just post about their everyday life unless I know them personally.
The @CSSCreator twitter account will just be used for news from this site and CSS related news.

My usage is the same. It's like another form of RSS except in most cases I can read the article from a link on Twitter quite a long time before it lands in my feed reader. It's also good for coming across a lot of incidental content from sites you don't normally visit. And it's also good for asking quick questions that don't normally warrant a forum post, or alternatively, for drawing attention to a forum post from people you think are likely to know the answer. It all depends on who you follow. Most of my work these days involves ExpressionEngine so most of my followers/people I follow are involved in that area.

I agree. I only use Twitter to get "live" updates on certain topics. I do a search for Honda Fury, and read what other tweet about it. stuff like that. I dont tweet anything.
