HI ..
First time poster and a CSS newbie to boot Smile

Getting a bit frustrated because Firefox and Explorer wont sit how I want Sad
I'm sure it's something simple but I can't see for the mist thats building in front of me eyes..
-------------------------------------------------------------------------

Firefox has extra padding on the right side of the middle column.
It is also missing the dashed border on the left?

Explorer has lost its top margin in the middle column.

Two miror problems but they are winding me up Smile

Can someone point me in the right direction as to how different browsers define margins and padding.

It looks fine in Opera 7.54.
Not sure about any other browsers, wish I had Safari but I don't.

Any help or pointers would be appreciated
and a big thanks in advance.

2 small problems FF & Exp margins or padding??

Hi

The firefox "extra" padding is due to IE (and Opera from the sound of it) increasing the size of containers to fit their contents instead of allowing them to protude.

The image servererrorth.jpg is wider than the area you have allowed for it.
