for this site: http://www.sidney.ars.usda.gov/

i have white links on the left and i have blue link in the body of the page. my problem is that with css (i am now switching the site to css instead of using font tags)...i can't figure out how to do white links and blue links...

everything that i've found on the internet and in books...just talks about active links, visited links, etc. but i want multiple active link colors.

some advice anyone?

thanks,

collene

multiple active link colors? how?

You can save yourself from having to add a class to every link by styling it based on it's context.

For instance, I can see that your left links are in a table with "AutoNumber7" as it's id, so you can use this bit of css to control those links:

#AutoNumber7 a:active {
color: #fff;
}

And your content seems to be in a Table with "AutoNumber6" as it's id:

#AutoNumber6 a:active {
color: #00f;
}
