I have started to find virtualization an increasingly interesting approach to running a machine though, keeping the host very simple and unfettered by apps and too much strain and running guest OS to handle various configurations that in a Windows environment would make me nervous due to dumb driver handling or gradual deterioration of the horror known as the registry.

Maybe I'm not geeky enough but I don't have the time or inclination to do that on a regular basis.
No I never had either,
No I never had either, although I did use to set things up with a view to doing just that. I've lost interest in the OS side of things realising that I simply need it to work and can't afford the time waste playing around with it, simply too much to be getting on with.
