Hello I am designing a site for the military Regiment that I am in. The browser that we are using for the military intranet is IE6 and so I designed the site for that. Unfortunately, anyone viewing it with IE 7/8 will not see it correctly. I am not at all profficient in CSS so I would welcome any help.

By using a good browser like Firefox as your primary test bed, you ensure the code is good, giving you a solid foundation to work with. This is true even if the target audience uses IE6. It is usually trivial to deal with IE 6, if the code is good. If the code is written for IE6, it can be a royal PITA to make modern browsers work right.
