Hi

CSS Newbie here. I HAD! this problem where trying to define a different a:link colour for a element in a pop-up box wouldn't work. I had defined the different link state attributes to a div class in the popup and but those in the anchor.css code of the template.

All sorts of inheritance issues. So I joined this forum and about the fifth item I found my answer. This was my original code:

.login_form_cont a, a:link {
	color:#191970;
	text-decoration:underline;
}

Which I had copied from the main anchor.css code and then applied the div class (.login_form_cont ) as a specifier. Inheritance issues :bigoops:

Then I changed it to:

.login_form_cont a:link {
	color:#191970;
	text-decoration:underline;
}
and all was good :thumbsup:

Thanks CSS creator and it was "Elders" reply http://csscreator.com/node/33657 that set me straight.
