http://www.sportscoachsolutions.com/ralphd/indexvalidated.html

OK, I'm still wet behind the ears in tableless css. I did validate my xhtml first I get 15 errors found in strict. I used the Tidy mark up and get the same thing after a save and refresh.

As for the css I have two errors and 19 warnings which I do not understand. Again I used the Tidy mark up re saved and checked and got the same thing.

I thought Tidy corrects the errors?

Other than the above the page looks like this in the following browsers

mac
Firefox
tight looks fine

safari
tight looks fine

Opera
shows margin outside of splitcontentleft and splitcontentright
splitcontent left is approx 75 pxls shorter than split content right on bottom.

netscape
shows margin outside of splitcontentleft and splitcontentright
splitcontent left is approx 75 pxls shorter than split content right on bottom.

IE7
windows
space inbetween splitcontentleft and splitcontentright is large

splitcontent left is approx 75 pxls shorter than split content right on bottom.

Flash swf in header certain colors are not visable.

Hopefully I'm nor breaking too many rules by posting this. If I did please forgive me as designing is my thing and have to learn more on the validation side. Any help please?

I wouldnt use Tidy, just

I wouldnt use Tidy, just learn to write the code correctly.

1. Fix the validation errors in css and html.

2. Your meta data needs help. Its not SEO.

3. Why have all that css in your , if you use a style sheet?

4. Flash is tacky and not assessable. never use it for navigation. How does the user navigate the site if they have flash turned off?

5. The formatting could be better.

6. Too many divs, research divitis.

7. why are you using an image map on those images?? Strange

I'm stopping now. I suggest learning how to write html semantically, then diving into css. Get some books on design also.
