Hi all,

I was wondering if there were any simple css examples of the following layouts:
* A right and left fixed column layout with a fluid center, a header and footer, and both full screen height and width (Even if the content doesn't fill the entire page).
* A left fixed column with a fluid content column 2, a header and footer, and both full screen height and width (Even if the content doesn't fill the entire page).
* A right fixed column layout with a fluid center, a header and footer, and both full screen height and width (Even if the content doesn't fill the entire page).

I've tried various methods and they all seem complicated.

Thanks in advance

If they seem complicated,

If they seem complicated, that might mean you need to get more comfortable with CSS.

I recommend some of the options found at layout gala. I've used some of those with good results.

Also, for the 100% height thing (the 100% width is never ever a problem in web design : ) you'll need to google (or search here) for "css 100% height model" and you'll see how to do it. But remember you can only make one direct child of the body 100% high with it. In general, you cannot set % heights on children whose parents don't have an explicit (non-%) height.

I'm no expert, but I fake one on teh Internets
