<a href="http://unfinishedsweet.50webs.com" rel="nofollow">http://unfinishedsweet.50webs.com</a> the yellow note in the layout is partially hidden behind .boxblueright though z-index is 5. It's displayed correctly in Opera and Firefox. Is there any hack to display it fully in IE?

Your code is a bit wrong

Your code is a bit wrong mate.

But a quick fix for your solution would be:

1) remove position:relative from div#rbar
2) remove left margin from div#rbar
3) float div#rbar right

Many thanks,
Liam

remove position relative

remove position relative from div#wrap.

Also you might want to remove float:left and add margin:0 auto to div#wrapbody to center the thing.

You really need to get away from using the 'position' tag. You should never need to use apart from that sticky note and maybe that image at bottom left. otherwise stay clear. You are falling into same trap as many others trying to do CSS. Use floats to create your desired layout.

Hope this gets yu a bit further.

Many thanks,
Liam

I have applied the changes,

I have applied the changes, also removed position: relative from the rest of divs. Note still is behind blue box which is relative and have 5 absolute divs in it (two icons and three images). Shall I try to float inside the blue box  ?

Right Im only willing to

Right Im only willing to help so much. Ive already said to get rid of your use of 'position'. yet I see the div that is covering the sticky 'boxblueright' still has a relative position????

It has as is parent for the

It has as is parent for the divs with images and two icons which are absolute.

I removed relative and absolute, used float. Now problem solved Smile Thank you for pointing to wrongly used position tag! Now its working as should be.

Following that I started to work with IE 6 compatibility. Looks alright now but two problems left:

1. First, more important, the #content div or #contentwrap, not sure as IE doesn't support outlines interfering with left tabs. It goes under the lowest tab level. More tabs, content lower. Problem does not appear in IE 5.5 and lower.

2. The .rads in the bottom are absoulte inside #footer (relative). Background picture is hidden above footer level. Appears in IE 5.5 and lower.
