Hello!
I am new to CSS. If someone could take a look at this page with Netscape and tell me what I've done wrong with footer margins/padding/borders. It just keeps hanging over the edge on the right side.

I'm wondering if I'm making some classic Netscape error?

Also, thought it could be related to the p styles earlier in the page.

thank you in advance for your kind help with this! I've been going crazy to figure it out on my own!

Help in Netscape!

Hi shazza007,
If you remove the padding from maincontent the footer sits in place correctly.
Another option would be to set the width of the footer, taking into account the padding, margins and borders etc.

Hope that helps.

Netscape working!

Thank you, Tony! I just tested your suggestion and of course, it works now!

Thank you so much. I read the forums all the time and have found many solutions to my 'css challenges'.

One more time....

Well, maybe I spoke too soon. That problem in Netscape is fixed. But now I've noticed a disappearing problem in Netscape 6.2.
The only section that appears is the top header and the rest of the page sort of flashes in and out for a brief second.

When it manages to stay on the screen, the menu is not doing anything.

Oh, I feel like such a newbie. Just when I thought I had it.

Thanks again!
