Feel like tweaking my gamma

Feel like tweaking my gamma upwards.

You need a pro copy writer, the grammar sucks Smile

didn't notice the links hidden in the weeds?

Shame the background doesn't run on on the right side with widescreens

Overall rather like the design.

it was just a thought but it

it was just a thought but it would have looked good if the top part of the background ran on to the right, the solid blocks of color as it were if that makes sense?

hmm getting bored with graphics being cropped

True it always has to end at

True it always has to end at some point, yet as for file size as a block of solid colors and as a gif it wouldn't be that large would it? perhaps if you could separate the background and run that across and overlay the mountain and other detail?

btw I am nit picking to some extent Smile

Main menu should be easier

Main menu should be easier to find and i would want an active state so that
easy to find out where you are.

Background and illustration( two guys on top and cans ) don't much somehow.( I just feel )

May be have one bigger picture on each page and set up the image gallery with light box
effect is nicer.

You can optimize the background image by deleting the place which is behind the main content.
( this only applies if the content area is not transparent )

Remember, these are dumb rednecks. Plus, that's what headings are for.

On the #steps there is a bit

On the #steps there is a bit of a lag for the next image to load when you mouse over it, maybe make both backgrounds the same image and just change the position on hover?

Also, I like the concept of the nav hidden in the weeds, but maybe make it a bit more obvious that the nav is there, I think it may be hidden "too" well.

I also think the background could do with a trailer, a rusted out body of a car, some tires, and maybe a random toilet with flowers growing out of it...

Maybe in the top right corner "This is wherr brains meat dirt" - maybe do "brians" and then scratch out the i and a and rewrite them the other way around.

All in all, looks good!

After thinking on this, how about another hand written note with something along the lines of "Look mah! They is got the navagashuns" with an arrow point to the weeds.

Didn't notice the spelling, though. Did you? Laughing out loud

The poems could take some markup/css to maintain formatting. See Poetry and Verse in HTML.

The whole idea is cute. The mental picture of good ol' boys, beer, and power tools does not engender confidence.

cheers,

gary

If your web page is as clever as you can make it, it's probably too clever for you to debug or maintain.
