I'd downloaded the SilkScreen Font to make some buttons recently, and messing around one lunchtime, I thought I'd change my windows colours again.
Turned out, getting the font down to it's natural size of 8 px / 6pt gave me nearly an extra 1/8th of screen space, not to mention making my start bar look uberleet.
If anyone is stuck on a low-res screen, and needs all the room they can get for their application and not the menu bars, give it a whirl.
