Some constructive criticism would be appreciated. The artist told me to use a lot of white/light and keep the artwork the focus. I used a fixed layout as some of the pages did not have a lot of content.

There should be 3 images across in the home page - I've checked it in browsershots (i am using a mac and have many mac browsers but no IE - so IE comments would be of particular interest).

Also - how the lightbox works for you when you click on the series images in the decade pages.

I guess I was put off by the vulva sculpts/prints on the first page. Just a bit too weird for me.

A particular bugbear of mine

A particular bugbear of mine - there should be no apostrophe in 1960s etc.

Also, you've got borders around all the images but they're not all the same size which leaves little white areas inside some of them which doesn't look good.

Triumph - believe it or not they are images of the coco de mer a seed pod from seychelles islands in the indian ocean.

Aside from the imagery did the lightbox work OK for you?

Point taken on the decades - i'll change that. The photos are more problematic as without the borders the have no presence on the page and many of the images supplied had already been cropped with no where to go. I might paly around with the homepage images though.

Reduce the size of the

Reduce the size of the containers to that of the smallest width & height and then use overflow:hidden to hide the bits of the images whose dimensions are larger than that (it's only going to be a few pixels on any of them).

I'm in FF3 on a mac and the pages are shifting as I go through them, e.g. going to 1960 from the main page. Also if your going to have a home button, it's odd to me to have it appear after you've clicked on a main nav button. The content for the first page is very odd when you first land there.

best to you,

That is strange because I am also using FF3 on a mac. By shifting do you mean from centered pages to left aligned? or a jog of the info before it loads? Yes, I mean to correct the "home" situation - I see that it is a navigation problem. By odd do you mean the artworks? I don't have any choice there as the artist decided he wanted those images and he wanted them as big as possible. I think they are a bit confronting though I don't think he means them to be.
thanks for the comments.
