Okay guys, what i need is a team of developers to create the website for this event.

If you're interested in helping out with this part please post Smile

Out of the people who post i'll select someone to be a leader for the team and their job is to select the rest of the team and organise everything for the website. I will be in contact with the leader of the web development team to give him/her the information that is needed as the project develops. If you can find someone who will do hosting for free that would be great, however i might have to set aside some of my personal cash for the domain which i'll get when i think of the name of the awards (suggestions open).

This'll be a crucial part of the project so i need people who are willing to fully engage in the project and are reliable. My plan is to have the website completed by 8th October and the application will also be ready for downloading.
Those who help on the website will still be able to enter into the competition.

For those of you who haven't checked out what this project is about, my original post is here
This is now not just an idea, i'm taking it on and again if you're willing to help out in some way contact me.

Thanks a heap for your support already people Smile

Dan.

So busy at present. Would like to help more if can but I could at least lend an aesthetic eye (just the one though! Wink ) And a CSS half-brain as well where comment is needed.

The next sentence is true. The previous sentence is false. Discuss...

Hi Fruitcake,
Is this something along the lines of what you are trying to do?

Web Design Awards pt 2

Yeah sort of. Standards compliancy will be comupulsory criteria for the entrants however seeming not many people follow css layouts i don't think i'll make that compulsory.

Which reminds me,

C'mon people I'm still looking for a design team! Someone with a bit of time to whip something up!!

I think for this year these awards will be for australian web designers just to start things off. Not many people have expressed their interest but then again i haven't advertised seeming there's still no team to help me organise it.
If there is anyone here who know designers here in perth send them my way! Smile

I need all the help i can get and i'm still looking for sponsors if anyone has ideas. This project is going to be a group effort.

Another might-be change is that if people aren't interested in coming along for the awards night then i'll make it all online but i'd prefer to have the awards night.

Thanks guys,

Dan.
