I have wanted to change the main body color of my site but cannot find the correct section in the style sheet that contains the code.

Currently the main body is black (#000000)

As you can see nowhere in the style sheet is black noted.

Which section of this style needs to be changed?

CSS Body color?

cranial, it's a background image not a color;
bg_darkfire.gif declared in the body.

Hugo.

P.S beware you may have problems with that layout as it uses an absolute positioned menu.

CSS Body color?

It certainly does. For all things WordPress it is often best to fit a more robust index file before you get started on the CSS.

No class, little style and a lotta division.
