I am not sure where should i ask this..

a website is code by html and styles with css..

will ppl code by xml and style with xsl?

No not really , at least where your standard web page is concerned, the only time I really come across XML is it's use in API situations.

cos i am very confused.

eg ABC's website is going to integrate with cms.
the data that the ABC's provide is in xml..

actually, normally my job is only coding html/css (the designer will give me the layout),then i give it to the programmer again after i done the html/css.

the programmer said i can use xml/xsl to do the layout, but the programmer also said that i can use html/css too.. so i am confused..
