I am working (locally) on a wordpress side and have a red horizontal navigation bar at the top. I have found code which allows me to have the current link coloured in another colour ie blue (I have used a gif but also tried a bcakground colour) The problem I have is the blue doesn't seem to quite fit the vertical so a slither of red shows at the bottom under the blue tab. Please could anyone tell me why this is happening.

Thank you
