Can you provide more

Can you provide more information about your problem? We really need to see ALL the HTML, ALL the CSS, and the images. Can you post them here, or a link to the page?

Is it a transparent png? If

Is it a transparent png? If so (in ie6) you'll need to transofrm it, look up pngfix.htc on google.

If it's a gif, check your matte options (the color that the image will sit ontop of), and double check to make sure that it's container doesn't have a background color set or inherited.

But yes, for more specific help the HTML, CSS and any images would be great.

There are sooo many problems

There are sooo many problems with the AlphaImageLoader filter and all it's derivative solutions that I can't, in good conscious, use it. The IE6 deadlocking (http://blogs.cozi.com/tech/2008/03/transparent-png.html) is particularly scary.
