I hope some of you guys would be good enough to take a look at a site I am having developed. I need to know if the mess that I am seeing in Firefox is happening to everyone who views the site if FF, or if this is just happening to me.

My designer tells me that he cannot find anything wrong, and the problems that I am pointing out to him must just be something to do with my browser, cache, or adobe flash not working properly.

I would be grateful if some of you guys could review this site for me. I am particularly interested in what the site looks like in FF 2.0, FF 2.0.0.16 and FF 3.0. I am using a Macbook and the site looks good in Safari, but a mess in FF 2.0.0.16. I would also be grateful if you could let me know if the site is functioning okay in any other popular browsers.

My laptop becomes unresponsive usually while viewing WM videos in both FF 2.0.0.16 and FF 3.0.

Here are some uploaded images of what I am seeing:
SCREENSHOTS

Here is the website for review. Please, take a look because I need to make a decision regarding whether, or not, I will accept this standard of work.

Thanks.

All I can say is that I

All I can say is that I would never pay for a page with so many html errors in it. There are over a hundred html errors and 79 CSS errors! I would not find this acceptable performance from a beginner, let alone someone who claims to be a "designer".

Looks ok to me in FF3/Mac,

Looks ok to me in FF3/Mac, IE7/XP & FF2/XP. Things do get unresponsive after the video finishes.

Thanks Ed, Chris. I

Thanks Ed, Chris. I appreciate both of you taking the time to look at the site.

Please, would keep the reviews coming guys. I need to make a decision in the next 24 hrs about whether to abort this project, or not.

I would be grateful for any feedback from any of you which would help me make that decision.

Comment from my first post:

"My laptop becomes unresponsive usually while viewing WM videos in both FF 2.0.0.16 and FF 3.0."

I would just like to mention that my laptop works fine normally, it only becomes unresponsive when viewing WM videos in FF on the website being reviewed.

Thanks.

Yeah, I saw that. My computer became unresponsive in FF3/Mac and IE7/XP, but only when the video finished and it (tried to) jump to the 4-split screen. FF2/XP wasn't so bad. I also got a message to the effect of "the flash script is doing something that may cause your computer to slow down, do you want it to be aborted".
