Hi,

I am currently building a new site that my client will be hosting internally. The client's available bandwidth is less than optimal and during busy periods slow/stalling page loading frequently results in pages rendering to screen minus any formatting.

My question: is there a way to force the stylesheet to load and cache before the html?

Force stylesheet to load first

I have had simular problems, as in the HTML loads without the use of style. I think the problem you are facing is FUC (Flash unloaded content).

how do you link the style. I found out that this method will not load the HTML instill the CSS is loaded.

<head>
<link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="style.css"/>
</head>

This method I found out that the CSS tends to load after the HTML

<head>
<style type="text/css" media="all">
    @import 'style.css';
 </style>
</head>

Tell me if I am wrong...
Hope this helps!
