Our CTO has just said we're having a technical meeting (company of about 5 coders and 2 designers) where he wants me to champion the benefits of CSS and distribute some base style sheets we should use for all upcoming projects.
Yes!! Come the revolution my friends....
Currently most people here wouldn't know CSS if it bit them on the ass, though things are looking better. Just read one of Tantek's blog entries which gives me some more ammunition, bring it on
Who knows, by the end of the week maybe people here will understand the difference a DOCTYPE can make....
Good stuff! And good luck!
I'd suggest getting a copy of Designing With Web Standards by J Zeldman, and keep it to hand in the meeting.
Already got it and read it, and got my CTO to read a bit of it, I think that's what's helped bring him around
Ahh, must've been the bit about saving on bandwidth and resources that got to him!
