arg, i have text in a right float and in firefox the text continues horizonally across the page but the width of the div stays the same.. but in IE the div gets longer with the text... How would i fix this issue?

Hi DiarYofaMadmaN,
If you had normal spacing in the text it would wrap. Without spaces the text has no place to break.

You could play with overflow or use min-width instead of width.

Let us know what you want to happen, should the box grow or add a scroll bar or crop the text.

That is probably my issue because i don't have any breaks in it. I just need the div's height to get longer as more text is added. I think the text breaks will do what i need it to do. I'll give it a shot and see what happends
