Hi. Is it normal that IE6 completely ignores the link/visited/hover/active CSS definitions when they are a child tag? (Firefox doesn't):

p a:link {
color:#CC3333;
}

link/visited/hover/active in IE6

I've had similar issues.

I think it's picky about the order they appear in though.

You could check it goes. a:link a:visited a:hover a:active

p a:link {
color:#CC3333;
}

p a:visited {
color:#993333;
}

p a:hover {
color:#ff3333;
}

p a:active{
color:#000066;
}

link/visited/hover/active in IE6

Thanks for your reply, but this is, of course, the order I was using... Still couldn't get it to display it correctly. I tried emptying the IE cache, didn't help.

link/visited/hover/active in IE6

I did a quick test with IE 6, seems to work fine on the version that comes with XP.
