Hi,

I am working on this site:
http://www.designpitch.co.uk/demos/tandm/static.php

What I want is very simply, the image to overlap the red band and am having a mare trying to work out what is wrong. I presume the solution is simple? I have put inline styles on the image to try and illustrate things easier.

Hi, First things fist. Move

Hi,

First things fist. Move all your css to a css file, instead of having them inline. Secondly which image do you want to move ? a z-index is a relative term, so try giving the "red line" as you mention it a lower z-index value and position.

Z-index issue I have

Cheers, It's the main image on the page with the body text. I have now made the header z-index:1; and the 'main-float' image z-index:2; but the header is not absolutely positioned.

.main-float
{
height:226;
width:321;
position:absolute;
top:-26px;
right:0;
z-index:2;
}

#header
{
width:960px;
height:auto;
margin:0 auto;
z-index:1;
background:url('../images/layout/header-bg.gif') right top no-repeat;
}
