Hello

I have a test page here where I am trying to wrap text neatly around the Apple logo (just as it is wrapped neatly around the Windows logo above it).

http://www11.brinkster.com/stevehigham/t1est.html

The page has the following style tag:

.floatleft { float: left; margin: 5px 10px 20px 10px; border: none }

And then in the body I have:

Windows logo

Metropolitan University's Virus-Buster CD comprises etc etc.

To read more etc.

Apple logo

If you use Mac OS X, please click on the Apple logo

How can I get the text to wrap neatly around the Apple logo, please without breaking up the structure of the page?

Thanks

Steve

Have a look at the margin

Have a look at the margin you have placed around your image, try setting it to 0 and see what it looks like. In Firefox, if I increase the size of the text, it goes nicely underneath the image. So if you want it the next around the image then increase the size of your text.

You don't have enough text there yet to wrap around the image.

How to get help
Post a link. If you can't post a link, jsFiddle it.

Thanks to you both for your replies.

I have added more text and that seems to have done the trick ( a bit easier than playing with the margins!!).

Many thanks again - I'm expecting a pay rise after all this!! Wink

Cheers
