Good Afternoon,

I've been searching Google for all manner of combinations of dynamic sitemaps, xml to php, etc etc but haven't managed to find anything.

What I was hoping to do, is having written a sitemap.xml file, automatically populate a sitemap.php page with the data. I am not looking to dynamically create a sitemap, I am happy to do that via hand as it is only a small site. I would simply prefer not to have to do it twice each time for a php page aswell. Could anyone give me any clues as to where I should be looking to accomplish this?

Also, is it just me, or are sitemaps the perfect example on the web of where a Definition List might be used (URL or TITLE and then the description of the page)?

I have looked elsewhere but could not find much on the topic and would really appreciate if any of you might be able to give me just a direction in which I should be looking.

Thank you!

P.S. IT just occured to me that I have not seen a 'page description' tag or anything in the most popular sitemap format so the two ideas above (XML and Definition Lists) would not work together, but opinions on both would still be appreciated. Thank you.
