I have divided my page into three vertical divs. The one in the middle is for content. The divs on right and left are for shadow border that is set to repeat-y.

The problem is that when I have long text in my content the middle div extends and becomes longer in heigh while the border divs on the left and right don't. Is there a sample layout where the divs with shadow background extend with the text when the content is long?

I hope my question is clear.

Apparently some mind readins

Apparently some mind readins skills remain at my advanced age, then.

But if you want good help from forums you need to learn how to make your wants clearer. It was pretty much a guess on my part that happened to hit the mark.

Normally I would pass right by such vaguely worded questions.
