hi im making my first site using css and everything is working fine except for two problems.....

1) the div that's goin to contain my content keeps extending horizontally...so is there a word wrap function in css or smthn similar, and how do i use it?

2) heres the code i used in css....but for some reason the header or the enclosing div is down about 10px from the top...why?

body {
	text-align: center;
	}
#center_div {
	margin: auto;
	height: auto;
	}
.enclosing {
	width: 557px;
	height: auto;
	position: relative;
	background-color: #DAD7C4;
	}
.header {
	background-image: url('heavymetalheader.jpg');
	position: relative;
	width: 628px;
	height: 300px
	}
.content {
	position: relative;
	background-color: #DAD7C4;
	width: 557px;
	max-width: 557px;
	height: auto;

	}
[/code]

Word wrap problem

max-width is not supported by MSIE
you may find a solution there
www.svendtofte.com/code/max_width_in_ie/

set
margin:0;
padding:0;
in body
it may help
