Hi there,

here is my site:

http://www.jessicamartin.org

I use a lot of tables and CSS divs for the design. If you click on the sublinks of my site (examples below), you will see that it looks GREAT on all the browsers (Explorer, Safari), except it looks just terrible on Netscape/Firefox. Anyone have any ideas as to why this is the case?

Here are sub pages to check out to see what I am talking about:

http://www.jessicamartin.org/about.html

http://www.jessicamartin.org/radio.html

http://www.jessicamartin.org/reviews.html

Thanks in advance for your help!

-JessicaM

My site DOES NOT look good in Netscape/Firefox, advice?

I'd hardly say it looks terrible, just background colours missing as far as I can see.

The reason being that you have things like

<td bgcolor="cccc99" width="440" valign="top">

but Firefox need you to include the # at the front of the colour declaration i.e.

<td bgcolor="#cccc99" width="440" valign="top">

Idealy you should move this kind of thing into your CSS but that's up to you.

And if you want to make your pages download faster (you should), use #cc9 instead of #cccc99. Basically, if the pairs are the same, you only need one, eg:

#ff8822 becomes #f82

but #f7f3ef stays the same/
