and the "sidebar" (id sidebar) is moving down in the internet explorer - how to fix that?

Add display:inline to #sidebar this is a common problem that ought to be known, IE has what is refered to as the "double margin bug"
I wouldn't place too much regard on how IE5 displays things it's an obselete browser.

i've tried and added this to the sidebar-id. but the problem, still exists.. :shrug:
man, i'm so lost.. i am fixing this problems for several hours now..
(and, the problem is also with ie6 .. )

try display:inline; in #content
Then as our French freind
Then as our French freind mentions place it on the #content div, same difference same problem, clue was in the bug which was always going to be the problem, as to the correct element, without testing it looked to be the #sidebar as the obvious choice, having tested it appears Monsieur Dan was correct, vive la something or other
