Hello all,
I just posted a new version of the website www.newspacearchitects.com and it loads fine in safari, ie win, firefox etc. but goes nuts in Netscape. All of the subpages load incorrectly with a large gray div covering all but the very top of the content (the text banner that aligns on the right in the top div also aligns incorrectly on the left). Any help with fixing this (probably css hacks?) would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!
-Kasia

Netscape making me crazy

Hi KasiaOz,
First thing to do is validate your html and css.
Once that's done try commenting out sections of the css till you find what causes the problem.

Hope that helps

validation and padding

I have validated the main page of the site. Everything on the subpages validates except a couple of font tags used to conceal certain headings from browsers that cannot read css.

The problem with netscape 7.1 is odd in that it doesn't show up in firefox. Basically a large gray div appears on top of the page's contant after it finishes loading. if I set the body's padding-bottom to 0 px, this gray div covers the entire page. If I set the padding-bottom to something larger, say 50px, the top 50 px of the page will be visible, with the rest covered by the gray div (counter-intuitive, I know). Thoughts?

Netscape making me crazy

Hi KasiaOz,
Remove "overflow:auto;" from the body.

Hope that helps

You rock!

You're awesome! That worked like a charm! The page loads correctly in all browsers now, except for one minor thing (the right hand 1 px black border of the content doesn't show up when the content is larger than the screen size in firefox...odd...). yay! thanks again!
