Hi Guys Laughing out loud ,

I have just finished designing a new site template but have come across a small bug.

The address of my site is:

http://selfsellproperty.com/beta/

Please try using Internet Explorer (either version 7 or 6). Hover over 'Contact Us' on the left vertical navigation menu - notice how the image directly below it jumps up? My question is: how do I prevent this from happening?

This ‘bug’ only occurs on IE so I guess it is just another IE bug? :?

The site is built using validated XHTML (Strict) and CSS.

It would be a great help if you guys could cast your eyes over it and guide me to a solution.

Many Thanks  ,

Use display:inline-block; in

Use display:inline-block; in #VerticalNav li a instead of display:block to set hasLayout, then add #VerticalNav li a { display: block;} to reset the correct value.

Many thanks!

Many thanks for your reply, I tried your solution and it worked!

However, just after posting I tried just adding a height to the li via css and that solved the problem too!

Just thought I’d post my solution for others to use.

Thanks
