Hi,

I've been working on my first pure CSS/XHTML website and most of it's been going pretty well. However, I've run into a couple of display problems when viewing in IE.

Have a look at the page:
http://www.8bitpatina.net/v1/blog/index.php

There are two problems.

1) The top of the barcode image in the right column is lining up with the bottom of the left-hand sidebar div, when it should just be sitting in the natural flow.

2) Although I've re-styled the <hr /> elements using CSS, IE is showing them with a 3D border of some kind.

Neither of these problems exist in Firefox, so I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions, please?

The stylesheet is here:
http://www.8bitpatina.net/v1/blog/css/default.css

Possible culprits are an 'img' selector (line 11 of the css) and a class selector, '.entry img' (line 695)...

Sorry for the messy CSS - I haven't gotten around to cleaning it up yet...

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

Thanks in advance,

safety

Nvermind :)

Fixed it...

Apparently it had something to do with the margin I had set on the image. I did have 'margin: 10px' set, but changed that to set each side (left, right, top, bottom) individually and now it works?!

Not sure why, but I'm happy Smile
